Now she has been appoin\u00adted part\u00adner. \u201cAfter the extre\u00admely successful and rapid estab\u00adlish\u00adment of the Berlin office, we are very plea\u00adsed to streng\u00adthen the exten\u00added manage\u00adment team with Tanja. This way, we gain even more impact for HTGF as a whole,\u201d explains <strong>Dr. Alex von Fran\u00adken\u00adberg<\/strong>, Mana\u00adging Part\u00adner of HTGF. This means that there are eleven part\u00adners in total, more than a quar\u00adter of whom are&nbsp;women.<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Emmer\u00adling has been a member of the HTGF team since 2014. AI, IoT, Mobi\u00adlity &amp; Logi\u00adstics, IT Secu\u00adrity, Block\u00adchain and SaaS compa\u00adnies are her passion. She is invol\u00adved as a start-up mentor and is a welcome guest on various panels. Before joining HTGF, she was Head of New Ventures respon\u00adsi\u00adble for incu\u00adba\u00adtion and corpo\u00adrate ventures in a media company. \u201cBeing able to repre\u00adsent Euro\u00adpe\u2019s most active seed inves\u00adtor as a part\u00adner in Berlin offers incre\u00addi\u00adble oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties to get new compa\u00adnies off the ground,\u201d Ms. Emmer\u00adling is plea\u00adsed to&nbsp;say.<\/p>\n<p>Berlin is an important loca\u00adtion for HTGF. The metro\u00adpo\u00adlis is a central hub for start-ups, inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors and compa\u00adnies. A team of five invest\u00adment mana\u00adgers is alre\u00adady working there. \u201cBut we have not only expan\u00added the team in Berlin. New invest\u00adment mana\u00adgers have also come on board at the Bonn office. With around 220 tran\u00adsac\u00adtions per year \u2014 that means new invest\u00adments, follow-up finan\u00adcing and exits \u2014 the need for excel\u00adlent invest\u00adment mana\u00adgers has contin\u00adued to grow,\u201d explains Dr. Alex von Frankenberg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About High-Tech Gr\u00fcnderfonds<\/strong><br>\nThe seed inves\u00adtor High-Tech Gr\u00fcn\u00adder\u00adfonds (HTGF) finan\u00adces tech\u00adno\u00adlogy start\u00adups with growth poten\u00adtial. With a total volume of EUR 895.5 million distri\u00adbu\u00adted across three funds and an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal part\u00adner network, HTGF has alre\u00adady supported more than 550 start\u00adups since 2005. His team of expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adced invest\u00adment mana\u00adgers and startup experts supports the young compa\u00adnies with know-how, entre\u00adpre\u00adneu\u00adrial spirit and passion. The focus is on high-tech start-ups in the soft\u00adware, media and Inter\u00adnet sectors, as well as hard\u00adware, auto\u00adma\u00adtion, health\u00adcare, chemi\u00adcals and life scien\u00adces. More than EUR 2 billion in capi\u00adtal has been inves\u00adted in the HTGF port\u00adfo\u00adlio by exter\u00adnal inves\u00adtors in more than 1,400 follow-on finan\u00adcing rounds to date.
