Aschaf\u00adfen\u00adburg - Heuking K\u00fchn L\u00fcer Wojtek<\/strong> advi\u00adsed the share\u00adhol\u00adders of vtours<\/strong> on the sale to Hotel\u00adplan Group<\/strong>. vtours GmbH in Aschaf\u00adfen\u00adburg and vtours inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal AG in Switz\u00ader\u00adland will conti\u00adnue to operate inde\u00adpendently. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the purchase price. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion was comple\u00adted on Novem\u00adber 12, 2019.<\/p>\n

The merger will enable vtours to expand not only in the DACH region, but also across Europe, and to bene\u00adfit from shared tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcal exper\u00adtise. The appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 150 employees in Germany and Switz\u00ader\u00adland will be taken over. The office in Aschaf\u00adfen\u00adburg will be retai\u00adned, while the offices in Glatt\u00adbrugg, Switz\u00ader\u00adland, will be inte\u00adgra\u00adted into the Hotel\u00adplan Group headquarters.<\/p>\n

vtours GmbH was foun\u00added in 2004 and is one of the leading dyna\u00admic tour opera\u00adtors in the German-spea\u00adking region. The Swiss vtours inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal AG was foun\u00added in 2015 and is a sister company of vtours GmbH. Vtours offers package tours, city breaks and round trips. The tour opera\u00adtor\u2019s port\u00adfo\u00adlio includes more than 7,000 hotels in 195 desti\u00adna\u00adti\u00adons world\u00adwide. The travel offers are distri\u00adbu\u00adted via statio\u00adnary travel agen\u00adcies, Inter\u00adnet portals and the company\u2019s website. The total annual turno\u00adver of vtours tour opera\u00adtors is over EUR 400 million.<\/p>\n
