As part of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, <strong>Alan\u00adtra<\/strong> had the exclu\u00adsive M&amp;A advi\u00adsory mandate and conduc\u00adted a compe\u00adti\u00adtive inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal auction process. The closing of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is subject to EU merger control approval.<\/p>\n<p>Caljan is the market leader in auto\u00adma\u00adtion tech\u00adno\u00adlogy for parcel hand\u00adling in the logi\u00adstics and e\u2011commerce sectors. The product range includes teles\u00adco\u00adpic convey\u00adors, auto\u00adma\u00adted docu\u00adment hand\u00adling and labe\u00adl\u00ading solu\u00adti\u00adons, and auto\u00adma\u00adtion solu\u00adti\u00adons for parcel deli\u00advery bases. Foun\u00added in 1963, the company is head\u00adquar\u00adte\u00adred in Denmark and has subsi\u00addia\u00adries in Germany, France, the UK, Latvia and the USA. Net sales are around 100 million euros, with an opera\u00adting margin of over 15% and strong growth. The company employs 450 people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very plea\u00adsed with the outcome of this tran\u00adsac\u00adtion and are convin\u00adced that Latour is the right part\u00adner for Caljan and all of its employees.
