Accel had alre\u00adady inves\u00adted in digi\u00adtal freight forwar\u00adding for the first time in the spring as part of its Series B finan\u00adcing&nbsp;round.<\/p>\n<p>The startup curr\u00adently has around 150 employees and is active not only in Germany but also in Italy, Spain and the Bene\u00adlux count\u00adries. In recent months, Senn\u00adder has grown signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly and this is expec\u00adted to conti\u00adnue. In Septem\u00adber, new bran\u00adches will be opened: in Madrid and Wroclaw, and in Milan. In Italy, Senn\u00adder has laun\u00adched a coope\u00adra\u00adtion with Poste Italiane. Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal expan\u00adsion will be just as much a focus in the coming months as the further deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of the tech\u00adno\u00adlogy. Senn\u00adder should then gene\u00adrate one billion euros in sales in four years, explai\u00adned co-foun\u00adder David Nothacker.<\/p>\n<p>Foun\u00adders<strong> David Noth\u00adacker, Julius K\u00f6hler, Nico\u00adlaus Sche\u00adfe\u00adn\u00adacker (photo from right)<\/strong> have raised $100 million this year alone. Alre\u00adady in April, the well-known US VC <strong>Accel<\/strong> had provi\u00added $30 million. Led by Swiss-German VC <strong>Lake\u00adstar<\/strong>, another $70 million is now flowing into Senn\u00adder\u2019s coffers. <strong> Siemens startup Next47<\/strong> is a new entrant in the round, as is Italian <strong>family office H14<\/strong>. Exis\u00adting inves\u00adtors <strong>HV Holtz\u00adbrinck Ventures, Project A <\/strong>and <strong>Scania Growth Capi\u00adtal<\/strong> also parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adted in the&nbsp;round.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advi\u00adsor Accel: Henge\u00adler Mueller<\/strong><br>\nHenge\u00adler Muel\u00adler advi\u00adsed Accel on the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion.
