The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is subject to regu\u00adla\u00adtory approval.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe tran\u00adsac\u00adtion demons\u00adtra\u00adtes the contin\u00adued execu\u00adtion of CRH\u2019s stra\u00adtegy to create value for our share\u00adhol\u00adders through active port\u00adfo\u00adlio manage\u00adment, effi\u00adci\u00adent capi\u00adtal allo\u00adca\u00adtion and the crea\u00adtion of a simp\u00adler and more focu\u00adsed group for the future. The sale follo\u00adwed a compre\u00adhen\u00adsive stra\u00adte\u00adgic review of the busi\u00adness in recent months, which conside\u00adred all opti\u00adons to maxi\u00admize value for share\u00adhol\u00adders.
