The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is still subject to regu\u00adla\u00adtory appr\u00adoval; closing is expec\u00adted later this year. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the purchase price.<\/p>\n<p>Prefere Resins specia\u00adli\u00adzes in the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment, manu\u00adfac\u00adture and distri\u00adbu\u00adtion of phen\u00ado\u00adlic and amino resins used as a base for compo\u00adsite mate\u00adri\u00adals in the cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion, insu\u00adla\u00adtion and indus\u00adtrial sectors. The company has produc\u00adtion faci\u00adli\u00adties in Germany, Finland, the UK, France, Poland and Roma\u00adnia, three rese\u00adarch and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment sites (Germany, Austria and Finland) and four regio\u00adnal sales offices (Germany, the UK, Finland and Austria). The company employs more than 320 people and its annual produc\u00adtion volume is about 350,000 tons.<\/p>\n<p>With the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of the INEOS Mela\u00admi\u00adnes &amp; Para\u00adform busi\u00adness units, Prefere Resins expands its global reach with addi\u00adtio\u00adnal produc\u00adtion faci\u00adli\u00adties in the US and Germany, as well as a contract manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adring faci\u00adlity in Indo\u00adne\u00adsia. INEOS Para\u00adform is conside\u00adred the second-largest supplier of the basic chemi\u00adcal para\u00adform\u00adalde\u00adhyde in Europe. Around 120 employees work at the Mainz site, where form\u00adalde\u00adhyde and form\u00adalde\u00adhyde deri\u00adva\u00adti\u00adves have been produ\u00adced for more than 100 years.
