The seller is the US<strong> invest\u00adment company Eli Global<\/strong>. As part of this sale process, which is one of the largest FinTech and Insur\u00adTech tran\u00adsac\u00adtions in Germany to date, the invest\u00adment bank <strong>GCA Altium<\/strong> acted as exclu\u00adsive tran\u00adsac\u00adtion advi\u00adsor to the Finan\u00adzen Group shareholders.<\/p>\n<p>The Finan\u00adzen Group, head\u00adquar\u00adte\u00adred in Berlin, has been support\u00ading insu\u00adrance experts and finan\u00adcial advi\u00adsors across Europe in digi\u00adtal acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion since 2004 \u2014 in 2018 alone, more than 1.2 million new custo\u00admer cont\u00adacts (leads) were traded on the Finan\u00adzen Group plat\u00adform. The unique market\u00adplace acts as a bridge between pros\u00adpec\u00adtive custo\u00admers sear\u00adching online and insu\u00adrance and finan\u00adcial advi\u00adsors opera\u00adting offline, thus respon\u00adding to the growing ROPO (\u201cRese\u00adarch Online, Purchase Offline\u201d) trend for more complex insu\u00adrance and finan\u00adcial products. The company uses a tech\u00adno\u00adlogy plat\u00adform deve\u00adlo\u00adped in-house to bring toge\u00adther lead gene\u00adra\u00adtors (inclu\u00adding its own portal finanzen.de) and buyers in real time. Finan\u00adzen Group also acts as an online broker for certain insu\u00adrance products in Germany and Switzerland.<\/p>\n<p>Upon comple\u00adtion of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, which is still subject to custo\u00admary market appr\u00adoval proce\u00addu\u00adres, Finan\u00adzen Group is to become an inde\u00adpen\u00addent subsi\u00addiary of Alli\u00adanz Group. The aim is to improve Alli\u00adan\u00adz\u2019s access to poten\u00adtial custo\u00admers, support the success of agents and streng\u00adthen the distri\u00adbu\u00adtion network.
