The fund has thus reached the upper limit (\u201chard cap\u201d) set out in the fund statu\u00adtes and excee\u00added the origi\u00adnally plan\u00adned volume of 750 million euros.<\/p>\n<p>The fund was signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly over\u00adsub\u00adscri\u00adbed due to strong demand from exis\u00adting and new inves\u00adtors from Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia. The inves\u00adtor base of the Keen\u00adsight V fund is globally diver\u00adsi\u00adfied and consists of appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 90% insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors (asset mana\u00adgers, pension funds, insu\u00adrance compa\u00adnies, banks and sove\u00adreign wealth funds) and appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 10% execu\u00adti\u00adves of former port\u00adfo\u00adlio compa\u00adnies and family offices.<\/p>\n<p>The new Growth Buyout Fund is a consis\u00adtent conti\u00adnua\u00adtion of Keen\u00adsight Capi\u00adtal\u2019s invest\u00adment stra\u00adtegy, which has alre\u00adady been successfully imple\u00admen\u00adted in the past. This is based on part\u00adner\u00adships with passio\u00adnate entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs and invest\u00adments in profi\u00adta\u00adble, fast-growing compa\u00adnies in Western Europe with sales between EUR 15 and 250 million.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus Germany<\/strong><br>\nGermany is a key target market for the new fund due to its fast-growing IT sector and its signi\u00adfi\u00adcant health\u00adcare sector, which is one of the largest indus\u00adtries in the coun\u00adtry with around seven million employees.<\/p>\n<p>With the new fund, Keen\u00adsight intends to make grea\u00adter use of its exten\u00adsive expe\u00adri\u00adence in support\u00ading very fast-growing compa\u00adnies in the inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adna\u00adliza\u00adtion of their busi\u00adness models, its in-depth sector exper\u00adtise and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal network in the IT\/tech and health\u00adcare sectors, its successful coope\u00adra\u00adtion with start-up entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs in a spirit of part\u00adner\u00adship, and its flexi\u00adble struc\u00adtu\u00adring of invest\u00adments in this country.<\/p>\n<p>Keen\u00adsigh\u00adt\u2019s team consists of 30 experts with eleven diffe\u00adrent natio\u00adna\u00adli\u00adties, which conti\u00adnues to focus on invest\u00adments in Western Europe in the range of 20 to 200 million euros. The indus\u00adtry focus is on infor\u00adma\u00adtion tech\u00adno\u00adlogy and health\u00adcare. The team alre\u00adady has many years of exper\u00adtise in this area. In 2016, for exam\u00adple, Keen\u00adsight acqui\u00adred the bioma\u00adte\u00adri\u00adals divi\u00adsion of aap Implan\u00adtate AG in this coun\u00adtry.
