The startup company aims to drama\u00adti\u00adcally shift the market for robot-driven process auto\u00adma\u00adtion (RPA) in an envi\u00adron\u00adment where compa\u00adnies are looking for new ways to auto\u00admate busi\u00adness and IT processes.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s mission is to help infor\u00adma\u00adtion workers by auto\u00adma\u00adting mundane, repe\u00adti\u00adtive tasks, free\u00ading up more time for more fulfil\u00adling, value-added acti\u00advi\u00adties like inter\u00adac\u00adting with custo\u00admers. Ben Blume, Prin\u00adci\u00adpal of Atomico, joins Auto\u00adma\u00adtion Hero\u2019s Board of Direc\u00adtors as part of this latest round of funding.<\/p>\n<p>For the Auto\u00adma\u00adtion Hero team, rapidly buil\u00adding disrup\u00adtive tech\u00adno\u00adlogy compa\u00adnies is not new terri\u00adtory. <strong>Foun\u00adder Stefan Groschupf (photo)<\/strong> has over 25 years of expe\u00adri\u00adence in the field of machine lear\u00adning and was one of the first Big Data acti\u00advists to work on the Apache Hadoop project. The team and Groschupf foun\u00added the award-winning Big Data busi\u00adness intel\u00adli\u00adgence company Data\u00admeer in 2009, which counts more than 50 percent of Fortune 50 compa\u00adnies among its custo\u00admers and has secu\u00adred a spot in Gart\u00adner\u2019s Magic Quadrant for Busi\u00adness Intel\u00adli\u00adgence and Analy\u00adtics in just five&nbsp;years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RPA + AI =&nbsp;IPA<\/strong><br>\nThe market for RPA has seen tremen\u00addous growth in recent years, but the current tech\u00adno\u00adlogy was deve\u00adlo\u00adped over a decade ago and is limi\u00adted to auto\u00adma\u00adting simple, repe\u00adti\u00adtive click robots.
