TPG is a global leader in the design and manu\u00adfac\u00adture of premium pack\u00ada\u00adging machi\u00adnery for the food, pet food and chemi\u00adcal indus\u00adtries. \u2014 Alan\u00adtra struc\u00adtu\u00adred and arran\u00adged new credit faci\u00adli\u00adties in a compe\u00adti\u00adtive process to repay share\u00adhol\u00adder loans from HQ Equita and to refi\u00adnance exis\u00adting debt. In addi\u00adtion, the company recei\u00adved new acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion and CapEx lines for orga\u00adnic and exter\u00adnal growth.<\/p>\n<p>TPG deve\u00adlops and manu\u00adfac\u00adtures pack\u00ada\u00adging machi\u00adnes for filling dry, free-flowing bulk mate\u00adri\u00adals into various types of bags made of paper or plas\u00adtic lami\u00adnate. The machi\u00adnes provide pack\u00ada\u00adging solu\u00adti\u00adons for flour, sugar, baking mixes, confec\u00adtion\u00adery, pet food, and various chemi\u00adcal products, among others. The service and spare parts busi\u00adness also accounts for around a quar\u00adter of TPG\u2019s sales. The company, with 210 employees at four inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal produc\u00adtion and sales loca\u00adti\u00adons, was crea\u00adted in 2018 by merging FAWEMA and HDG (form\u00aderly: Steindl Group) under HQ Equita.<\/p>\n<p>The finan\u00adcing volume provi\u00added by a consor\u00adtium consis\u00adting of Commerz\u00adbank and Olden\u00adbur\u00adgi\u00adsche Landes\u00adbank (OLB) supports TPG in expan\u00adding its tech\u00adni\u00adcal compe\u00adten\u00adcies and geogra\u00adphi\u00adcal reach through targe\u00adted acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons in order to further expand its market posi\u00adtion as a globally active plat\u00adform in the pack\u00ada\u00adging machi\u00adnery market. The streng\u00adthe\u00adned debt capi\u00adtal base also enables TPG to expand a produc\u00adtion site and build a third state-of-the-art \u201cgreen\u00adfield\u201d produc\u00adtion faci\u00adlity. In addi\u00adtion, it is inten\u00added to acce\u00adle\u00adrate invest\u00adments in sales, as well as rese\u00adarch and deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment, and to further insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adna\u00adlize the organization.<\/p>\n<p>Florian Wiem\u00adken, who is mana\u00adging HQ Equi\u00adta\u2019s invol\u00advement with TPG, said: \u201cThis finan\u00adcing package is very well struc\u00adtu\u00adred and allows TPG to grow sustain\u00adably.
