The requi\u00adre\u00adments that ortho\u00adpe\u00addic tech\u00adni\u00adci\u00adans have to meet in their care are ther\u00ade\u00adfore just as complex \u2014 with constantly incre\u00adasing cost and time pres\u00adsure. For this reason, off-the-shelf ortho\u00adses or pros\u00adthe\u00adses have often been used up to now. They serve their purpose, but do not fit ideally.<\/p>\n<p>This is where Mecu\u00adris inter\u00advenes in the supply process. The young company aims to signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly improve the quality of life for pati\u00adents while saving ortho\u00adpe\u00addic tech\u00adni\u00adci\u00adans time and money. The aim is to work toge\u00adther with ortho\u00adpe\u00addic tech\u00adni\u00adci\u00adans and wearers to design pati\u00adent-speci\u00adfic ortho\u00adses and pros\u00adthe\u00adses that are as indi\u00advi\u00addual in their func\u00adtion\u00ada\u00adlity as they are in their design, color and struc\u00adture. To this end, Mecu\u00adris provi\u00addes ortho\u00adtists with an easy-to-use online plat\u00adform, the Mecu\u00adris Solu\u00adtion Plat\u00adform, with which they can tailor ortho\u00adses and pros\u00adthe\u00adses. These are manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adred using 3D prin\u00adting and deli\u00advered within a few days. In addi\u00adtion, the start-up offers services for medi\u00adcal supply stores to trans\u00adfer ortho\u00adpe\u00addic products into a digi\u00adtal process chain, bring them to market quickly and make them scalable in&nbsp;sales.<\/p>\n<p>The approach of using and mone\u00adtiz\u00ading digi\u00adtiza\u00adtion for perso\u00adna\u00adli\u00adzed ortho\u00adtics and prosthe\u00adtics has convin\u00adced the new and exis\u00adting inves\u00adtors. The foun\u00adding team was able to attract three new inves\u00adtors for the Series A finan\u00adcing: Vesa\u00adlius Bioca\u00adpi\u00adtal III SICAR, MII Mulcan Inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal Invest\u00adments GmbH and one of the five largest hospi\u00adtal chains in Germany and Europe. The latter aims to open up digi\u00adtiza\u00adtion for its part\u00adners \u2014 the medi\u00adcal supply stores. In addi\u00adtion, the seed inves\u00adtors Bayern Kapi\u00adtal GmbH and High-Tech Gr\u00fcn\u00adder\u00adfonds Manage\u00adment GmbH (HTGF) have contin\u00adued to support the company\u2019s goals.<\/p>\n<p>Mecu\u00adris will use the proceeds from the finan\u00adcing round to deve\u00adlop the Euro\u00adpean market and streng\u00adthen sales. In addi\u00adtion, the start-up will conti\u00adnue to deve\u00adlop new digi\u00adtal solu\u00adti\u00adons to comple\u00adment its own port\u00adfo\u00adlio and fill market gaps that other play\u00aders have not yet been able to&nbsp;serve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Mecu\u00adris&nbsp;GmbH<\/strong><br>\nMecu\u00adris works closely with certi\u00adfied ortho\u00adtists (OTs) to bring ortho\u00adtics &amp; prosthe\u00adtics into the digi\u00adtal age.
