Since 1996, GIATA has been support\u00ading its custo\u00admers in the tourism indus\u00adtry as a leading provi\u00adder of \u201cnon-booka\u00adble content\u201d, conti\u00adnuously setting new stan\u00addards in hotel content proces\u00adsing and distri\u00adbu\u00adtion. The foun\u00adding share\u00adhol\u00adders have taken a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant stake in the company and will remain at the company\u2019s dispo\u00adsal for the long term. Odewald KMU II was advi\u00adsed by Heuking K\u00fchn L\u00fcer Wojtek<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Its modu\u00adlar product range enables GIATA to offer complete solu\u00adti\u00adons tail\u00ado\u00adred to the indi\u00advi\u00addual custo\u00admer. In doing so, GIATA combi\u00adnes inno\u00adva\u00adtive tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies such as Arti\u00adfi\u00adcial Intel\u00adli\u00adgence and Digi\u00adtal Finger\u00adprin\u00adting with careful, manual rese\u00adarch. Custo\u00admers from over 70 count\u00adries include almost all inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally known tour opera\u00adtors and travel agency chains, online travel agen\u00adcies, the global travel distri\u00adbu\u00adtion systems and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally known travel portals. GIATA has thus estab\u00adlished itself as the market leader in the market segments served by the company in the rapidly growing global tourism market.<\/p>\n

To support further growth, the foun\u00adding share\u00adhol\u00adders have ente\u00adred into a part\u00adner\u00adship with Odewald KMU, Berlin, an invest\u00adment company specia\u00adli\u00adzing in high-growth medium-sized compa\u00adnies. To this end, Odewald KMU has acqui\u00adred a majo\u00adrity stake in GIATA. The foun\u00adding share\u00adhol\u00adders have taken a signi\u00adfi\u00adcant stake in the company and will remain at the company\u2019s dispo\u00adsal for the long term. The common goal of the share\u00adhol\u00adders is to conti\u00adnue to grow sustain\u00adably in the coming years with the exis\u00adting product range and to successfully posi\u00adtion the product inno\u00adva\u00adtions curr\u00adently being laun\u00adched on the market. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the amount of the invest\u00adment or further details of the shareholding.<\/p>\n

The Odewald KMU II Fund has a volume of 200 million euros and invests in high-growth medium-sized compa\u00adnies. The focus is on compa\u00adnies in the fields of \u201cGerman engi\u00adnee\u00adring\u201d, intel\u00adli\u00adgent services and health. Most recently, Odewald KMU II inves\u00adted in Langer & Laumann Inge\u00adnieur\u00adb\u00fcro GmbH and heiz\u00adku\u00adrier GmbH in Janu\u00adary 2018 with the support of P\u00e4r Johans\u00adson\u2019s team. Kris\u00adtina Schnei\u00adder has also just successfully comple\u00adted the first add-on acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion for heiz\u00adku\u00adrier GmbH.<\/p>\n
