Private inves\u00adtors have inves\u00adted a total of 20 million euros and are invol\u00adved in three-quar\u00adters of the deals. Successfully funded start\u00adups include teams such as <strong>inveox, All3DP, Hofmann &amp; Stir\u00adner <\/strong>and<strong> Let\u2019s Yalla<\/strong>. The BayStartUP inves\u00adtor network is one of the most important cont\u00adact points in Bava\u00adria for start\u00adups looking for capital.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of the deals broke\u00adred by BayStartUP is on the early stage: 44 of the funded teams (88%) are youn\u00adger than 3 years. 26% of the finan\u00adcing rounds fall into the pre-seed phase, 52% into the seed phase and 22% into the series A phase. Busi\u00adness angels were invol\u00adved in 74% of the deals. \u201cThis shows that busi\u00adness angels are an indis\u00adpensable part of early-stage finan\u00adcing and that the importance of angel capi\u00adtal has contin\u00adued to grow over the years,\u201d says<strong> Dr. Cars\u00adten Rudolph (photo), mana\u00adging direc\u00adtor of BayStartUP<\/strong>. In total, the finan\u00adcing rounds range from 50,000 euros to 6,000,000 euros. The highest invest\u00adment by a busi\u00adness angel was just under 2 million euros. In fiscal year 2018, the BayStartUP inves\u00adtor network attrac\u00adted around 40 new busi\u00adness angels. \u201cThe topic is meeting with incre\u00adasing inte\u00adrest, parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly among entre\u00adpre\u00adneurs from German SMEs,\u201d says Rudolph. Curr\u00adently, start\u00adups have cont\u00adact oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties with around 300 private as well as over 100 insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal inves\u00adtors via the BayStartUP inves\u00adtor network.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to finan\u00adcing brokerage, BayStartUP acts as a neutral and non-commer\u00adcial cont\u00adact for start\u00adups and inves\u00adtors.
