The EIB\u2019s parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion now increa\u00adses the fund volume to EUR 275 million.<\/p>\n<p>As a co-invest\u00adment fund, copa\u00adrion invests in young, high-growth and tech\u00adno\u00adlogy-orien\u00adted compa\u00adnies toge\u00adther with private sector inves\u00adtors, ther\u00adeby support\u00ading the venture capi\u00adtal market in Germany. Through the co-invest\u00adments, the inten\u00added total invest\u00adment volume of copa\u00adrion (toge\u00adther with co-inves\u00adtors) amounts to appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately EUR 550 million.<\/p>\n<p>The EIB is a long-term lending insti\u00adtu\u00adtion of the Euro\u00adpean Union whose share\u00adhol\u00adders are the EU Member States. The invest\u00adment in copa\u00adrion is linked to the goal of streng\u00adthening the emer\u00adging venture capi\u00adtal market in Germany as well. The invest\u00adment is part of the so-called Invest\u00adment Offen\u00adsive for Europe (\u201cJuncker Plan\u201d), which aims to create jobs by inves\u00adt\u00ading in Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advi\u00adsing EIB: P+P P\u00f6llath + Part\u00adners<\/strong> provi\u00added compre\u00adhen\u00adsive contrac\u00adtual, tax, regu\u00adla\u00adtory and corpo\u00adrate law advice to EIB in complex nego\u00adtia\u00adti\u00adons on its invest\u00adment in copa\u00adrion with the follo\u00adwing private funds&nbsp;team.<br>\n<strong>Tarek Mardini (photo), LL.M.
