In 2007, he led the buy-out of Silver\u00adfleet Capi\u00adtal (then \u201cPPM Capi\u00adtal\u201d) from the insu\u00adrance group Pruden\u00adtial plc. For 14 years, he headed Silver\u00adfleet Capi\u00adtal as Mana\u00adging Part\u00adner. Under his aegis, Silver\u00adfleet deve\u00adlo\u00adped into one of the leading Euro\u00adpean private equity houses in the mid-market segment. Gareth Whiley joined the firm in 1997, became a part\u00adner in 2002 and was respon\u00adsi\u00adble for a number of successful invest\u00adments in Europe. Most recently, he led the invest\u00adment acti\u00advi\u00adties in the UK and Scan\u00addi\u00adna\u00advia as well as in the consu\u00admer goods sector.<\/p>\n<p>Silver\u00adfleet Capi\u00adtal prepa\u00adres for next phase of growth with leader\u00adship change. Curr\u00adently, the 30-strong invest\u00adment team mana\u00adges more than 1.2 billion euros; the invest\u00adments, based in the UK, Ireland, the DACH region, France, the Bene\u00adlux count\u00adries and Scan\u00addi\u00adna\u00advia, each have an enter\u00adprise value of between 20 and 300 million euros.
