Foun\u00added in 1973, the company designs and manu\u00adfac\u00adtures process plants, espe\u00adci\u00adally for the phar\u00admaceu\u00adti\u00adcal, food, water tech\u00adno\u00adlogy and chemi\u00adcal industries.<\/p>\n

As a high-end stain\u00adless steel proces\u00adsor, Sommer & Strass\u00adbur\u00adger has posi\u00adtio\u00adned itself as a tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgi\u00adcally leading supplier in the rele\u00advant custo\u00admer indus\u00adtries with its own brands Asep\u00adtra\u00adLine, Filtra\u00adLine and Membra\u00adLine for process vessels, filter and membrane housings. At the ACHEMA trade fair in June 2018, the company also presen\u00adted the Resi\u00adLine product line, a new type of corro\u00adsion-resistant membrane housing made of poly\u00admer-coated stain\u00adless steel for the passage of subs\u00adtances with a high salt or chlo\u00adrine content, for example.<\/p>\n

GESCO AG takes over 100 % of the shares, the owner Michael Hilpp<\/strong> remains active in the company as mana\u00adging direc\u00adtor. With around 125 employees, Sommer & Strass\u00adbur\u00adger gene\u00adra\u00adtes sales of just under \u20ac20 million.
