For <strong>EUR 16.4 million<\/strong>, para\u00adgon is acqui\u00adring 82 percent of the shares in the company and has also agreed opti\u00adons for the remai\u00adning shares, which will initi\u00adally remain with the founders.<\/p>\n<p>SemVox deve\u00adlops effi\u00adci\u00adent and secure tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies and solu\u00adti\u00adons for voice control, multi\u00adface\u00adted human-tech\u00adno\u00adlogy inter\u00adac\u00adtion, and pro-active assis\u00adtance systems based on arti\u00adfi\u00adcial intel\u00adli\u00adgence. The company employs around 60 people and expects sales in the mid-single-digit million range for fiscal year 2018. The alre\u00adady profi\u00adta\u00adble company was foun\u00added ten years ago as a spin-off of the German Rese\u00adarch Center for Arti\u00adfi\u00adcial Intel\u00adli\u00adgence. In 2017, SemVox won the Car HMI Special Jury Award. Nume\u00adrous vehicle types are alre\u00adady equip\u00adped with SemVox tech\u00adno\u00adlogy, and this figure is expec\u00adted to rise to more than 13 million vehic\u00adles in the next five&nbsp;years.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong>sellers of the shares are the four foun\u00adders of SemVox GmbH and four inves\u00adtors<\/strong>. These include the German Rese\u00adarch Center for Arti\u00adfi\u00adcial Intel\u00adli\u00adgence, Saar\u00adbr\u00fc\u00adcken, and M. Laden\u00addorf Betei\u00adli\u00adgung, Trier. The four foun\u00adders will conti\u00adnue to be invol\u00adved in the company for a period of at least three years and will take on mana\u00adging or execu\u00adtive func\u00adtions. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is expec\u00adted to be comple\u00adted by the begin\u00adning of Octo\u00adber 2018 at the latest.<\/p>\n<p>Listed on the Regu\u00adla\u00adted Market (Prime Stan\u00addard) of Deut\u00adsche B\u00f6rse AG in Frank\u00adfurt a.M., <strong>para\u00adgon GmbH &amp; Co. KGaA<\/strong> deve\u00adlops, produ\u00adces and sells pionee\u00adring solu\u00adti\u00adons in the fields of auto\u00admo\u00adtive elec\u00adtro\u00adnics, body kine\u00adma\u00adtics and elec\u00adtro\u00admo\u00adbi\u00adlity. With the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of SemVox, para\u00adgon crea\u00adtes a new busi\u00adness area for digi\u00adtal assis\u00adtance systems. Toge\u00adther, para\u00adgon and SemVox want to signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly expand the range of inte\u00adgra\u00adtive solu\u00adti\u00adons.
