The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion includes GP\u2019s nonwo\u00advens produc\u00adtion in Stein\u00adfurt, North Rhine-West\u00adpha\u00adlia, and sales offices in France and Italy. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion invol\u00adves the sale of shares in certain GP subsi\u00addia\u00adries to a subsi\u00addiary of Glat\u00adfel\u00adter and is expec\u00adted to close in the fourth quar\u00adter of 2018, subject to regu\u00adla\u00adtory approval.<\/p>\n<p>Head\u00adquar\u00adte\u00adred in Atlanta and employ\u00ading appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 35,000 people world\u00adwide, GP is one of the leading manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders of nonwo\u00adven fabrics for the produc\u00adtion of napkins, baby wipes, toile\u00adtries, cosme\u00adtics, and clea\u00adning and wet wipes. The company employs around 220 people in Stein\u00adfurt. Glat\u00adfel\u00adter was foun\u00added in Penn\u00adsyl\u00adva\u00adnia in 1864 and employs appro\u00adxi\u00adm\u00adately 4,200 people at 13 manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adring loca\u00adti\u00adons in North America, Europe and Asia.
