It is sche\u00addu\u00adled to start opera\u00adti\u00adons in the second half of the year and will work on topics such as connec\u00adti\u00advity, mobi\u00adlity as a service, e\u2011mobility services and disrup\u00adtive e\u2011business models.<strong> Phil\u00adipp Wetzel (51), photo<\/strong> (source: obs\/Amag) will be Mana\u00adging Direc\u00adtor and report to Amag Group CEO Morten Hannesbo.<\/p>\n<p>The Inno\u00adva\u00adtion &amp; Venture LAB works on topics such as connec\u00adti\u00advity, mobi\u00adlity as a service, e\u2011mobility services, and disrup\u00adtive e\u2011business models. It is also available to the entire AMAG Group for agile project processing.<\/p>\n<p>The LAB\u2019s mission includes iden\u00adti\u00adfy\u00ading mobi\u00adlity trends and networ\u00adking with leading univer\u00adsi\u00adties and the Swiss start-up scene. It will also address initia\u00adti\u00adves of the Volks\u00adwa\u00adgen Group and exch\u00adange infor\u00adma\u00adtion with tech\u00adno\u00adlogy and inno\u00adva\u00adtion part\u00adners throug\u00adhout Europe.<\/p>\n<p>In order to ensure market proxi\u00admity and opti\u00admal exch\u00adange with start-ups, acce\u00adle\u00adra\u00adtors, univer\u00adsi\u00adties and coope\u00adra\u00adtion part\u00adners, the LAB will proba\u00adbly be based in the grea\u00adter Zurich area in a co-working envi\u00adron\u00adment. Opera\u00adti\u00adons will commence in the second half of&nbsp;2018.<\/p>\n<p>AMAG Inno\u00adva\u00adtion &amp; Venture LAB is headed by Phil\u00adipp Wetzel(51) as Mana\u00adging Direc\u00adtor. In this func\u00adtion, he reports to Morten Hannesbo, CEO AMAG Group AG. A proven marke\u00adting profes\u00adsio\u00adnal, he holds a degree in engi\u00adnee\u00adring from the Swiss Fede\u00adral Insti\u00adtute of Tech\u00adno\u00adlogy (ETH) and an MBA, and brings with him many years of expe\u00adri\u00adence in consul\u00adting and the consu\u00admer goods indus\u00adtry. Phil\u00adipp Wetzel has been with AMAG since 2012, most recently as Direc\u00adtor Marke\u00adting &amp; Busi\u00adness Deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment \/ CDO Chief Digi\u00adtal Offi\u00adcer and member of the Manage\u00adment Board of AMAG Import AG. Among other things, he also played a leading role in the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of the Group-wide digi\u00adtal and new mobi\u00adlity stra\u00adtegy, which led to the crea\u00adtion of a&nbsp;new<br>\norga\u00adniza\u00adtio\u00adnal unit and various ventures.<\/p>\n<p>The other key posi\u00adti\u00adons in the Inno\u00adva\u00adtion &amp; Venture LAB have been filled by <strong>Urs Jaschke<\/strong> as Head of Inno\u00adva\u00adtion Lab, <strong>Stefan R\u00fcssli<\/strong>, Head of Venture Opera\u00adti\u00adons and <strong>Markus Abeler<\/strong>, Head of Finance. Jaschke headed the Digi\u00adtal Busi\u00adness Deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment depart\u00adment at AMAG Import AG, R\u00fcssli has been respon\u00adsi\u00adble for New Mobi\u00adlity at AMAG for around a year, and Abeler joined AMAG a few months ago, brin\u00adging with him a broad back\u00adground as CFO in the auto\u00admo\u00adtive environment.<\/p>\n<p>At AMAG Import AG, Chris\u00adtian Hermle will take over as Head of Marke\u00adting &amp; Busi\u00adness Deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment from Phil\u00adipp Wetzel as of July 1.
