As part of a manage\u00adment buy-out (MBO), the DBAG ECF fund advi\u00adsed by Deut\u00adsche Betei\u00adli\u00adgungs AG will acquire the majo\u00adrity of shares in four opera\u00adting compa\u00adnies of the BTV group. These will be sold as part of a succes\u00adsion plan by the company foun\u00adder and share\u00adhol\u00adder of BTV Thomas Braun, who will conti\u00adnue to be respon\u00adsi\u00adble for the manage\u00adment of the companies.<\/p>\n<p>DBAG co-invests up to 4.8 million euros; in future, it will account for around 38 percent of the shares in the compa\u00adnies. Further shares in addi\u00adtion to the DBAG ECF (a total of 93 percent) will be held by the compa\u00adnies\u2019 manage\u00adment. The closing of the purchase agree\u00adment is sche\u00addu\u00adled for July 2018. The rele\u00advant anti\u00adtrust autho\u00adri\u00adties still have to approve the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion. The parties have agreed not to disc\u00adlose the purchase price.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Deut\u00adsche Betei\u00adli\u00adgungs AG (DBAG)<\/strong> has acqui\u00adred four opera\u00adting compa\u00adnies of <strong>BTV braun tele\u00adCom<\/strong> AG (BTV braun). P+P advi\u00adsed the manage\u00adment of BTV braun on the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion. The BTV braun group is a full-service provi\u00adder in the field of broad\u00adband commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons. The compa\u00adnies of the Group deve\u00adlop, produce and distri\u00adbute compon\u00adents for the cons\u00adtruc\u00adtion of cable and fiber optic networks.<\/p>\n<p>BTV braun, which is head\u00adquar\u00adte\u00adred in Hano\u00adver and has bran\u00adches in Hamburg, Wismar, the Nether\u00adlands and Taiwan, gene\u00adra\u00adted <strong>sales of around 30 million euros<\/strong> in 2017. Deut\u00adsche Betei\u00adli\u00adgungs AG is a finan\u00adcial inves\u00adtor specia\u00adli\u00adzing in growth-orien\u00adted medium-sized compa\u00adnies. DBAG is prima\u00adrily active in Germany and has an inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal network. DBAG intends to conti\u00adnue the orga\u00adnic growth of the BTV braun compa\u00adnies and broa\u00adden its range of products and services.<\/p>\n<p>BTV is the fifth company in broad\u00adband commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons in which DBAG has inves\u00adted since 2013. In addi\u00adtion, there were seven corpo\u00adrate acqui\u00adsi\u00adti\u00adons of these share\u00adhol\u00addings. \u201cThe market for these compa\u00adnies is driven by incre\u00adasing end-custo\u00admer demand for faster Inter\u00adnet connec\u00adtions, which require exis\u00adting networks to be upgraded or newly built,\u201d says Tors\u00adten Grede, spokes\u00adman for DBAG\u2019s Manage\u00adment Board, describ\u00ading the attrac\u00adtive market envi\u00adron\u00adment for this invest\u00adment.
