The company was valued at EUR 1 billion. Celo\u00adnis has excee\u00added its growth targets since Accel and 83 North\u2019s $27.5 million Series A invest\u00adment in June 2016 and has been profi\u00adta\u00adble since its incep\u00adtion. The two inves\u00adtors were advi\u00adsed by Henge\u00adler Muel\u00adler<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Accel is one of the major U.S. venture capi\u00adtal firms. Foun\u00added in 2011, Celo\u00adnis is a soft\u00adware company based in Munich and New York. Its Intel\u00adli\u00adgent Busi\u00adness System is based on pionee\u00adring process mining tech\u00adno\u00adlogy. As the market leader in process mining, Celo\u00adnis helps orga\u00adniza\u00adti\u00adons under\u00adstand and improve opera\u00adtio\u00adnal process flows. Celo\u00adnis was foun\u00added by the three students Alex\u00adan\u00adder Rinke, Bastian Nomi\u00adnacher and Martin Klenk (photo)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Accel, in parti\u00adcu\u00adlar, is a highly promi\u00adnent name in the global tech scene, as the U.S.-based VC firm was an early inves\u00adtor in compa\u00adnies like Face\u00adbook and Spotify. The valua\u00adtion of Celo\u00adnis is no less remar\u00adkable: With the new invest\u00adment, it is said to be one billion dollars. This would add a so-called unicorn to the German startup landscape.<\/p>\n

Henge\u00adler Muel\u00adler advi\u00adsed Accel and 83 North on the transaction.<\/strong>
