The 45-year-old equity part\u00adner will assume the role for four years and retroac\u00adtively to the start of the fiscal year on Janu\u00adary 1, 2018. The posi\u00adtion was newly intro\u00addu\u00adced in the&nbsp;firm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince its foun\u00adda\u00adtion twelve years ago, ARQIS has grown from a handful of employees to around 45 lawy\u00aders at three loca\u00adti\u00adons, and in the process has estab\u00adlished an excel\u00adlent market posi\u00adtion,\u201d explains Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier. \u201cI look forward to driving further growth as well as stra\u00adte\u00adgic firm projects in the coming years as Mana\u00adging Part\u00adner of the&nbsp;firm.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ARQIS plans to recruit addi\u00adtio\u00adnal late\u00adral hires, parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly for the M&amp;A area. In addi\u00adtion, a Chief Opera\u00adtion Offi\u00adcer (COO) will be appoin\u00adted in the near future as a link between the Mana\u00adging Part\u00adner and the Busi\u00adness Services depart\u00adment, which has been conti\u00adnuously expan\u00added in recent years. Decis\u00adion-making chan\u00adnels are stream\u00adli\u00adned over\u00adall and manage\u00adment is effec\u00adtively supported in the long&nbsp;term.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Andrea Panzer-Heemeier is one of the part\u00adners who foun\u00added ARQIS. Prior to her recent appoint\u00adment, the employ\u00adment lawyer had served as the firm\u2019s part\u00adner in charge of human resour\u00adces for many years. She will conti\u00adnue to advise and lead the 12-person employ\u00adment law&nbsp;team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About ARQIS<\/strong><br>\nARQIS is an inde\u00adpen\u00addent busi\u00adness law firm opera\u00adting in Germany and Japan. The firm was foun\u00added in 2006 at its current offices in D\u00fcssel\u00addorf, Munich and Tokyo. Around 45 profes\u00adsio\u00adnals advise dome\u00adstic and foreign compa\u00adnies at the highest level on the core issues of German and Japa\u00adnese busi\u00adness law.
