Toge\u00adther with the previous owners of the company, the Euro\u00adpean invest\u00adment company Gimv has reached an agree\u00adment on the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of 75% of the shares in Laser 2000 GmbH. As part of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, it was agreed that the foun\u00adder and mana\u00adging direc\u00adtor Armin Luft will conti\u00adnue to hold a mino\u00adrity stake in the company.<\/p>\n<p>Laser 2000 (www.laser2000.de) was foun\u00added in 1986 and has since deve\u00adlo\u00adped into an inde\u00adpen\u00addent Euro\u00adpean market leader for inno\u00adva\u00adtive laser and photo\u00adnics solu\u00adti\u00adons. The company\u2019s compre\u00adhen\u00adsive product port\u00adfo\u00adlio ranges from lasers and light sources for mate\u00adrial proces\u00adsing to metro\u00adlogy and fiber optics, as well as 3D image proces\u00adsing, opti\u00adcal measu\u00adring instru\u00adments and came\u00adras. With over 30 years of expe\u00adri\u00adence in the market, Laser 2000 is a pioneer in the photo\u00adnics indus\u00adtry and ther\u00ade\u00adfore alre\u00adady has long-stan\u00adding custo\u00admer and supplier rela\u00adti\u00adonships.
