Stuttgart\/ DLA Piper<\/strong> advi\u00adsed Rolls-Royce Power Systems<\/strong> AG on the sale of L\u2019Orange<\/strong> GmbH to Wood\u00adward<\/strong> Inc. advise Rolls-Royce plc. and Wood\u00adward Inc. today jointly announ\u00adced that they have signed an agree\u00adment for the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion by Wood\u00adward of L\u2019Orange GmbH and its asso\u00adcia\u00adted busi\u00adnesses in Germany, the U.S. and China for an enter\u00adprise value of \u20ac700 million. L\u2019Orange is part of the Power Systems divi\u00adsion of the Rolls-Royce Group.<\/p>\n

The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion was appro\u00adved by the boards of Rolls-Royce and Wood\u00adward and the super\u00advi\u00adsory board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is expec\u00adted to close at the end of the second quar\u00adter of 2018. The tran\u00adsac\u00adtion is subject to the appr\u00adoval of German anti\u00adtrust authorities.<\/p>\n

Rolls-Royce Power Systems, a divi\u00adsion of Rolls-Royce plc, is one of the worl\u00add\u2019s leading suppli\u00aders of engi\u00adnes, propul\u00adsion systems and distri\u00adbu\u00adted energy systems.
