Munich \u2014 A team led by M&A part\u00adner Boris D\u00fcrr has advi\u00adsed the private equity funds advi\u00adsed by AUCTUS Capi\u00adtal Part\u00adners<\/strong> AG on the acqui\u00adsi\u00adtion of GS Star Group<\/strong>. In the course of the tran\u00adsac\u00adtion, the two previous mana\u00adging direc\u00adtors of GS Star GmbH, Andreas Erben <\/strong>and Heiko Grote<\/strong>, also acqui\u00adred a stake in the newly estab\u00adlished Gorge\u00adous Smiling Hotels Holding GmbH by way of a reverse share\u00adhol\u00adding and will conti\u00adnue to manage the group\u2019s business.<\/p>\n

The GS Star Group opera\u00adtes hotels throug\u00adhout Germany as well as in Austria and the Nether\u00adlands under the Hamp\u00adton by Hilton, Holi\u00adday Inn, Holi\u00adday Inn Express and Super 8 brands and under its own ANA Art Hotels brand. In addi\u00adtion, Gorge\u00adous Smiling GmbH, a subsi\u00addiary of GS Star GmbH, acts as a service provi\u00adder in the areas of marke\u00adting, yield manage\u00adment and purcha\u00adsing services for third-party hotels not owned by the GS Star Group. Here, solu\u00adti\u00adons are offe\u00adred for the opera\u00adtion of hotels as well as for hotel real estate. In total, the current hotel port\u00adfo\u00adlio of the GS Star Group compri\u00adses over 50 hotels.<\/p>\n

AUCTUS<\/strong> is one of the leading private equity inves\u00adtors in the German-spea\u00adking region. One focus of AUCTUS is the imple\u00admen\u00adta\u00adtion of indus\u00adtry concepts in conso\u00adli\u00adda\u00adtion markets by means of a buy & build stra\u00adtegy. Such a concept also under\u00adlies AUCTUS\u2019 invest\u00adment in the GS Star Group. For the future, GS Star Group toge\u00adther with AUCTUS plans to conso\u00adli\u00addate the opera\u00adtor market of hotels. To this end, further hotels and hotel opera\u00adting compa\u00adnies are to be acqui\u00adred and the company\u2019s own hotel real estate divi\u00adsion expan\u00added. Expan\u00adsion into Italy and Spain is also planned.<\/p>\n
