The latter will remain with the company in the long term as mana\u00adging direc\u00adtor and has taken a 50 percent stake in the plat\u00adform invest\u00adment in order to build up a soft\u00adware group around the digi\u00adta\u00adliza\u00adtion of busi\u00adness proces\u00adses in part\u00adner\u00adship with DRS Investment.<\/p>\n<p>In addi\u00adtion to consu\u00admer soft\u00adware, Ascora specia\u00adli\u00adzes in data manage\u00adment in cloud-based envi\u00adron\u00adments and digi\u00adtiza\u00adtion services for medium-sized compa\u00adnies. The aim of the invest\u00adment is to further deve\u00adlop and inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adna\u00adlize the company, parti\u00adcu\u00adlarly in the B2B&nbsp;area.<\/p>\n<p>Ascora GmbH, Gander\u00adke\u00adsee, was foun\u00added in 1994 by the compu\u00adter scien\u00adtist Dr. Sven Abels. It has deve\u00adlo\u00adped into an estab\u00adlished part\u00adner for all aspects of busi\u00adness process digi\u00adtiza\u00adtion and today employs over 30 soft\u00adware deve\u00adlo\u00adpers. Ascora curr\u00adently has more than 12 million soft\u00adware licen\u00adses in use. This makes the company one of the German soft\u00adware manu\u00adfac\u00adtu\u00adr\u00aders with the widest reach. In addi\u00adtion, Ascora mana\u00adges seve\u00adral rese\u00adarch projects in the areas of Indus\u00adtry 4.0 and eHealth (EU, BMBF) as consor\u00adtium leader.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Growth plan\u00adned through acquisitions<\/strong><br>\nWith the parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion of DRS Invest\u00adment, Asco\u00adra\u2019s B2B deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adments are to be signi\u00adfi\u00adcantly expan\u00added.
