M. \u2014 The German offices of the inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnal law firm Weil, Gotshal &amp; Manges have advi\u00adsed Tree Energy Solu\u00adti\u00adons (TES) on the estab\u00adlish\u00adment of a stra\u00adte\u00adgic part\u00adner\u00adship with Open Grid Europe (OGE) to deve\u00adlop and imple\u00adment a<sub>carbon circu\u00adlar economy<\/sub> with the aim of avoi\u00adding green\u00adhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of future coope\u00adra\u00adtion between TES and OGE will be on the deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of a Germany-wide CO<sub>2infrastructure<\/sub> for the removal of CO<sub>2emissions<\/sub> gene\u00adra\u00adted in the produc\u00adtion process CO<sub>2intensive<\/sub> indus\u00adtries cannot be avoided, and on the trans\u00adport of CO<sub>2<\/sub> espe\u00adci\u00adally for its reuse in a green, closed-loop system for import\u00ading green hydro\u00adgen. To this end, TES and Essen-based OGE, one of Euro\u00adpe\u2019s leading long-distance network opera\u00adtors, are plan\u00adning to jointly deve\u00adlop a 1,000 km<sub>CO2 trans\u00adport network<\/sub> in Germany as a first step. The<sub>CO2 trans\u00adport network<\/sub> will origi\u00adnate from a green lique\u00adfied gas import termi\u00adnal (Green Energy Hub Wilhelms\u00adha\u00adven) to be built by TES in Wilhelmshaven.<\/p>\n<p>TES, which opera\u00adtes inter\u00adna\u00adtio\u00adnally, is a supplier of green hydro\u00adgen and green synthe\u00adtic gas.
