Ardian, a world-leading private invest\u00adment house, today announ\u00adces the launch of a new open-ended fund \u2014 Ardian Clean Energy Ever\u00adgreen Fund (ACEEF).<\/p>\n
The fund is Ardian Infra\u00adstruc\u00adtu\u00adre\u2019s first ever\u00adgreen fund, offe\u00adring inves\u00adtors the oppor\u00adtu\u00adnity to grow their expo\u00adsure to rene\u00adwa\u00adbles and the energy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion. It is an Article 9 fund under the EU\u2019s Sustainable Finance Disclo\u00adsure Regu\u00adla\u00adtion (SFDR) and ther\u00ade\u00adfore meets the highest social and envi\u00adron\u00admen\u00adtal stan\u00addards in Europe.<\/p>\n
More than half of its \u20ac 1 bn target has alre\u00adady been inves\u00adted in a seed port\u00adfo\u00adlio of 12 wind and solar assets, tota\u00adling 1 GW of capa\u00adcity in Europe and the Ameri\u00adcas. The fund will conti\u00adnue to target mature rene\u00adwa\u00adble tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies inclu\u00adding solar, wind and hydro\u00adelec\u00adtric, as well as emer\u00adging tech\u00adno\u00adlo\u00adgies such as biogas, biomass, storage, and energy effi\u00adci\u00adency. The stra\u00adtegy is focu\u00adsed on opera\u00adtio\u00adnal opti\u00admiza\u00adtion to maxi\u00admize value crea\u00adtion. The fund targets up to \u20ac150m per indi\u00advi\u00addual investment.<\/p>\n
The AXA Group<\/strong> is the corner\u00adstone inves\u00adtor of ACEEF, and this part\u00adner\u00adship perfectly aligns with AXA\u2019s ambi\u00adtion to fight climate change by finan\u00adcing the energy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion. As an open-ended struc\u00adture, the fund will provide a perma\u00adnent solu\u00adtion to Ardian\u2019s clients to support rene\u00adwa\u00adble energy as part of Ardian\u2019s wider energy tran\u00adsi\u00adtion stra\u00adtegy.
