Profile | The Venture Capital Club has emerged from numerous venture capital regulars’ tables in Munich, which have been held regularly since 1983. The aim of the association is to promote communication between all those interested in venture capital and thus to facilitate the financing of companies with venture capital. The Venture Capital Club provides a forum unique in Germany: a meeting place for companies seeking capital, investors and management. These meetings – “regulars’ tables” – take place approx. every six weeks at noon in Munich. The VC-Club itself does not engage in any activities on either the capital procurement or the investor side.
Services | The main focus of each meeting is on two selected teams presenting their start-up companies, thus an opportunity to make initial contact with investors from the PE/VC scene and Business Angels. Renowned speakers hold lectures of approx. 20 – 25 minutes on topics from the field of venture capital, mainly with a practical background. Every participant at the regulars’ table has the opportunity to briefly introduce himself/herself and his/her products. Anyone who is interested in supporting the purpose of the association and in achieving its goals can become a member of the association.
