Cologne — Magellan Netzwerke GmbH acquires SOLIT SYSTEMS GmbH. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised Magellan Netzwerke GmbH, a member of the FERNAO group of companies, on the acquisition of SOLIT SYSTEMS GmbH and the subsequent restructuring of the group.
SOLIT SYSTEMS GmbH is an IT service company specializing in IT security, data protection and compliance, which has bundled its extensive experience in market-driven and innovative managed security services. The target group ranges from medium-sized businesses to corporate groups. With the acquisition of the specialist for managed security services, the FERNAO group of companies gains a strong extension of its product portfolio in the area of managed security services.
The FERNAO group of companies was founded by funds advised by AUCTUS Capital Partners in 2015 as part of the acquisition of Magellan Netzwerke GmbH as a buy-and-build platform. As a result of the acquisition, the FERNAO Group now has over 500 employees at 18 locations in Germany, Switzerland and China. As a medium-sized full service provider, the FERNAO group of companies offers services from a single source in the areas of IT security, IP networking, cloud computing and carrier solutions.
